Restaurant Greetje was officially opened by Mrs.Greetje Loven Op ‘t Root (born in 1927) on October 1st 2005 in one of the most beautiful districts of old Amsterdam. The restaurant is established in a monumental building on the Peperstraat 23 with a fabulous view overlooking the Montelbaanse Tower. Forgotten traditional Dutch meals are being brought back to ‘life’ by restaurant Greetje’s chefs for your enjoyment. Our menus are composed of specialties cooked with daily fresh and organice ingredients from Dutch soil, each dish prepared with love and respect for its ingredients and the environment.
